I checked the follow-up ultrasound again. This was a Radiesse nodule in the cheek, particularly at the entry point.

The case had been treated over two weeks until it was no longer visible to the eye. The source image shows the appearance one month later. The previously rounded nodule had become flatter horizontally.

The skin surface felt unremarkable to touch and looked smooth. I hoped it would continue to disappear; the source notes that a finding may remain visible on ultrasound for several more months.

The author describes this as an example of a firm nodule becoming flatter and smaller. It is one observed course, not a guaranteed response or a treatment schedule.
