Conference presentation

I was invited to speak as a plastic surgeon at the 24th Daegyeong Conference of Dermatologic Therapy.

The presentation concerned ultrasound-guided assessment of collagen-stimulator nodules and the mechanisms, evidence and limitations of five approaches, described in the original by a Korean mnemonic. It considered nodules following materials such as CaHA and PLLA and reviewed ultrasound-based assessment and relevant publications.

The presentation discussed evaluation of nodule location and appearance, extracorporeal shock-wave therapy (ESWT), hydrodissection, compression and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), alongside their evidence and limitations. Cases drawn from clinical experience supported discussion rather than established a universal protocol.

I intend to continue reviewing and sharing medical information through evidence-informed practice and academic participation.
