This is a personal record from the original publication date. Food, exercise, weight, and procedure experiences describe one person’s circumstances, rather than current treatment recommendations or guaranteed outcomes.

Silhouette Soft, two 8-cone threads, for the front cheek area. These are photographs of me from the previous year. I had chosen the treatment after using it for patients and liking the results.

At the time, I felt it gave my facial outline a subtle change. The cone-based threads seemed natural with facial expressions to me; I described the effect as more than simply being pulled tight. That was my personal impression.

I experienced a little swelling. Because a needle passes through the tissue, bruising can occur; my impression at the time was that it was uncommon in my cases. Looking at my own result, I felt it had lasted more than a year. I described the procedure as taking around 20 minutes.

It was a thread I liked. The original also claimed that it was essential for thin skin, finer yet stronger than Mint threads, and better at stimulating collagen, with a better appearance after 1–2 months. These broad necessity, comparative, and efficacy claims are retained here as historical statements requiring medical review; they are not established for every patient or presented as current treatment advice.
