Two weeks of food and exercise: a personal diary
Two weeks of food and exercise: a personal diary: a personal record from the original blog publication.
This is a personal record from the original publication date. Food, exercise, weight, and procedure experiences describe one person’s circumstances, rather than current treatment recommendations or guaranteed outcomes.
Seeing my weight heading toward 53kg, my clothes feeling tight, my underwear uncomfortable around my chest, and my sides feeling thicker—I realized I had gained weight.
I had been pleased that I could keep eating without gaining. Recently, though, the workload and number of patients left me tired. Worried about catching a cold in the freezing weather, I took taxis to work and buses home. My weight gradually crept up.
An opportunity came up to take a joint body-profile shoot with Dohee, a pediatrician I am close to. Time to restart my food and exercise routine. I have no visible abs now! Will they appear in two weeks?

Even when exhausted, I go to Pilates. I struggle through it, but I just do it. I want to stick to my meals and work on my waist and abs again.
These are my personal goals:
- Go to bed at 12:30.
- Protein powder for breakfast; chicken-breast salad for lunch and dinner.
- Plenty of water, and Americano when drinking coffee.
- Dress warmly and walk every day, even in the cold.
- Add more home workouts.
Today I learned exercises using a spine corrector. I bought one and a weighted ball to try different movements. I quite like the spine corrector: it helps me stretch, vary my exercises, use different muscles, and find the right positions.
